With extensive experience in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and workflow automation, Spandan brings deep technical expertise and a systems-level perspective to his role as a Data Engineer at Luminosity, contributing to the Transforming Siloed Data into Justice System Insights initiative. He supports the development of scalable data pipelines, standardizes and integrates complex datasets, and ensures that transformed justice system data is optimized for analytics, visualization, and long-term usability. Spandan works across platforms to build efficient SQL logic, adapt code across environments, and improve data storage and retrieval processes. He is recognized for designing resilient data workflows, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing practical improvements that enhance the quality, speed, and accessibility of data systems.

Spandan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering from VNRVJ Institute of Engineering and Technology. Prior to joining Luminosity, he held data engineering and analytics roles in the technology, education, and consulting sectors. His work has supported large-scale enterprise platforms, real-time data pipelines, and cross-functional teams responsible for cloud migration, automation, and data-driven decision-making in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
