Marcia Rebimbas is an accomplished Business Analyst with extensive knowledge of local and state justice system operations and criminal justice system applications. She led the development of Luminosity’s model for generating key performance metrics to monitor and evaluate pretrial justice systems (SAVANT – Justice System Data Fusion℠). Marcia leads a team of data architects, data engineers, data wranglers, data scientists, and data analysts to employ SAVANT in cities across the country to illuminate actionable insights and empower our clients to make strategic, data driven decisions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University, a master’s degree in Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Prior to joining Luminosity, Marcia worked for the New Jersey Courts and played an integral role during the planning and implementation of the state’s Criminal Justice Reform. She served the critical role of bridging the knowledge and communication gaps between practitioners, legal scholars, researchers, and IT professionals. She also translated the new statute into business requirements for several software applications. After the implementation of Criminal Justice Reform, Marcia served as the Chief of Pretrial Services and oversaw all aspects of program operations including policy, practice, automation, and evaluation.
