Robert Moncrief’s passion for reforming the justice system has guided his career trajectory. With a foundation in data engineering and analytics, he plays an important role in key projects focusing on pretrial justice improvements. Robert utilizes his programming expertise in SQL, R, Python, and Java to contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines that significantly improve data accessibility and reliability within various justice system databases. His skills extend to cloud platforms, data warehousing, and the use of data visualization and analytics tools. Robert excels in a diverse team environment, bringing a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset to his work. His commitment to Luminosity’s mission is reflected in his consistent contributions to the advancement of pretrial justice, making him an indispensable member of the team.

Robert earned a bachelor’s degree in Information Science with a concentration in Data Science and Analytics from the University of South Florida. Prior to his current role at Luminosity, he gained valuable experience as a Luminosity Data Fellow and worked at USF’s Big Data Analytics Lab.
