Raees Parkar is a Data Science Fellow at Luminosity contributing to the Transforming Siloed Data into Justice System Insights initiative. In this role, he conducts exploratory data analysis to assess the structure, completeness, and quality of justice system datasets. He works closely with data integration specialists, engineers, and analysts to standardize, clean, merge, and link complex datasets across siloed systems, and collaborates with data scientists to analyze results and document analytical findings in a clear and reproducible manner.

He is completing a master of science in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics at the University of South Florida and holds a bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Luminosity, he worked in commercial and research environments, where he supported large-scale operational data systems, developed data pipelines and dashboards, and collaborated with analytics teams on modeling and reporting initiatives. His experience bridges professional engineering work with graduate-level training in applied analytics and machine learning.
